Frank: Written on Thanksgiving Night 1988. My first guitar instrumental. Luckily I recorded a quick demo of it because as time went on, I almost forgot it.
For years it went nameless (other than “Instrumental”) until we recorded it and figured it would be nice to send it out to the world with an identity. We put it out to our audience members at a show one night and our friend Dan Innes suggested calling it "Afterglow". Ah yes, perfect. Why didn’t I think of that? "Afterglow" it is. Thanks Dan.
Note: Dan is also the person responsible for labeling the sound we make as "Serious Acoustic Succotash."
